SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Ti Adora + Modern Summer Sunset

We love this Ti Adora gown that we just got in!! It is so soft and romantic with its beading, soft lace, and tulle overlay. Perfect for a summer sunset wedding with peachy ombre inspiration, lots of candlelight and my favorite David Austin Juliet Garden Roses. Ti Adora's collection is one of our newest additions to our inventory and we love these dresses not just for their pretty details but they also give our brides a lower price point option since they range from $1200-$2000. If you are interested in coming in to check out the new collection call us at (912)200-4794, e-mail at ivoryandbeau@gmail.com or click here!! SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Rustic Chic + {VCD COLLECTION By The Cotton Bride POP-UP SHOP}

We are so beyond excited about our Pop-Up Shop series starting at the end of this February with our very first one featuring VCD Collection by The Cotton Bride!!!!!!!!!!!! So in anticipation of this, our intern, Shelby, put together an inspiration board inspired by their gown, "Charlotte." So what is a Pop-Up Shop exactly??? Well... we are super excited to announce that we are going to start bringing smaller bridal designers to Savannah for a short limited time during our Pop-Up Shops to share collections that we don't normally carry in our boutique. We are really excited to offer these exclusive dresses to brides who normally would have no way to see these collections without traveling. Our VCD Collection by The Cotton Bride will be featured at Ivory + Beau from Thursday February 27th through Monday March 3rd only!! **We will also be open on Sunday March 2nd to allow more time for brides to come and see the collection.**

So a little bit about the VCD Collection by The Cotton Bride: This airy, cool and lightweight collection by Chris Kole features gowns using only 100% natural silk, cotton and linen fabrics. Hear that?? Lightweight... summer brides out there? These dresses will be absolutely perfect for the hot Savannah heat. Also, this collection is currently only sold exclusively in their New York showroom... meaning this is REALLY exciting for us that we get to bring this collection to the south if even for just a short period of time!!!!

To make your appointment to come check out the collection click here!!! If you are wanting a Sunday appointment time please e-mail us directly by filling out our contact form here. And thank you Shelby for the inspiration!

SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Sarah Seven Cascade

Sarah Seven's dress, "Cascade," is by far one of my favorite gowns we have in stock right now. I love how soft and romantic the dress is with it's fluttery lace details and sweetheart neckline. Just had to do an inspiration board inspired by this gown... I'm thinking woodland + purple would match this dress so well with it's touches of gold within the lace. It's just so ethereal and reminds me of a pretty fairy. Enjoy!

SIMPLY BUSINESS: Introducing Alison Uzmann

Hello fellow wedding lovers!  I am Alison, an intern here at Ivory + Beau, and this is my first blog post (ever).  I want to give you all a taste of my girly wedding style.  I am a true coastal southern gal so there is nothing better to me than frills and all things nautical!  Fittingly enough I am having my own real wedding this coming spring where I get to bring this vision to life!  Think milk glass and cobalt blue vases; bridesmaids in pale pink; toile, polka dots and stripes (my fiance will be wearing seersucker, y'all!); and cotton and navy pansies in the bouquets.  So much prettiness to happen!

And if you love the gorgeous Elaya Vaughn ball gown shown below, you can see the dress in person at our shop!  You can even try it on!! Come on, you know you want to...

SIMPLY BRIDAL: Bohemian Style

Today we are so excited to be participating in our first styled shoot with Teresa of Memories n More! I first met Teresa through previous owner, Layla, and have had the pleasure of doing a few weddings with her! Heather of Beyond Beautiful is going to be doing hair and makeup for her gorgeous sister + my friend's little 2 year old girl! Also, we are collaborating with The Creative Porcupine, who is designing menus + other fun printables!! I am so excited to have Amanda helping us with some stuff... we went to the same Making Things Happen Conference but I'm not sure if we officially met, but in the past few weeks I've kept noticing her amazing designs on Facebook and thought hmmm, maybe I should ask her if she'd be interested in collaborating with Adrienna and I and boy was I excited when she was excited to be apart of our vision!!!! So thank you Amanda! You are amazing for doing this all so last minute!!! Adrienna + I have had so much fun curating all the pieces for our bohemian modern shoot. I have been daydreaming of doing a shoot with a boho flair since well... since I became obsessed with wedding blogs in general. So I am so excited for this! And even more so because this shoot is going to be the first ever to feature dresses that will be for sale in Ivory + Beau!!!!!! Follow us on Instagram at @ivoryandbeau for sneak peaks of these beautiful gowns!! We chose 2 of our favorites that fit the theme from 2 of our designers we will sell. So for today's blog post I thought it would be fitting to post some boho bride inspiration. Enjoy the pretties!!

SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Boho Beach Elopement

What do I do when I can't sleep? Make wedding mood boards for my clients obviously. This mood board is missing one color the bride is interested in (orange)... but you know sometimes when it's 3:30 in the morning and you're lethargic from being woken up after having nightmares and you just can't find the right inspiration photos to add into the mix so you just nix it in the board. Anyway, the colors for the elopement will be *tentatively* turquoise, orange + purple, which will be so gorgeous on the beach! But anyway, I am super excited for this intimate elopement! I am not going into any more details because well... if you know me then you know I absolutely love surprises!!!!! So like always, you'll just have to keep on following the blog to see the wedding after it's happened! Also, side note... big news coming this Sunday regarding the future of Simply Savannah Events! Stay tuned!!! OH and... giveaway details being posted on Sunday as well! Follow us on Facebook for updates!

SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Honey Bee + Jack Daniels

How about some honey + Jack Daniels? Anyone? I know this is a super summery post, but I must say the weather here in Savannah right now is exactly what it's like during summers in Portland, Oregon where I'm from originally. But really... 80 degrees is about as hot as it ever gets. See now why I love Georgia so much??

SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Gingham

Is it just me or does that weird song, "Gangnam Style" make you think of gingham? Okay yeah it's probably just me. But anyway, here's some gingham wedding inspiration! I love how preppy the print is and it's just so perfect for a summer wedding!! Makes me kind of crave some fresh squeezed lemonade + some jam on toast... anyone else??

SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Fairytale Picnic Love

This is a little blast from the past wedding inspiration board from my old wedding + design blog! I have been really busy this past week finishing up all the details for the rest of our weddings this spring and planning all the vendor tours for Chris, myself, my parents, and Chris' mom for while we are in the top secret wedding location next weekend! It is a very exciting time but in the midst of all that I have not had as much time as I'd like to blog! Anyway, instead of being MIA for another week at a time I thought I'd share an old inspiration board I had done awhile back that was inspired by the most adorable shoot you will ever see on Green Wedding Shoes! Does this not just make you want to wear a paper crown like every single day? Because it kind of makes me feel that way...

SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Floral + BHLDN Bridal Shower

All it takes is one piece to get inspiration for an event. In this case, I spotted those Lenox Floral Fusion Plates on Hayneedle and I instantly was like... bridal shower!? Yes please. I think those plates deserve some gold flatware, like most other events to be completely honest... and lots of bold floral details. I loved the modern vases from Chive, which I think when combined with the more vintage looking plates will create a fusion of styles that is both girly, modern, vintage and pretty all at the same time... if that's even possible, which I'm going to say is of course possible because anything is possible, right? What are your favorite pieces from below?!

SIMPLY BRIDAL: Floral Crowns

It's an obsession. I mean big time. One of my favorite things ever. Floral crowns. I just love them. I mean if I could wear one everyday I probably would. I don't really know what it is about them that makes me love them so much, well probably the fact that they are gorgeous and so fun and add a pop of color and are different and unique and yeah I could go on. Anyway, last week I got a call from a mother of a bride who was interested in hiring me for Day Of for her daughter. She raved about how her daughter + I had a lot in common. And so it should have been of no surprise that I got super excited when the bride said she was going to wear a floral halo. You have no idea how happy the little things like that make me. Anyway, here are some of my favorites!

So uh yeah I love them so much I just had to make one for me just because... and if you are interested in having me make one for you to rock on your wedding day the answer is obviously I will do it gladly. Contact me here!
