BRIDAL LOOKBOOK 1.0 {part 1} Sarah Seven

Gosh we are so behind in sharing this on our blog but finally getting to it only who knows how many long months after first posting our only Issuu of our first ever Bridal Lookbook, which you can see here. Anyway, finally getting around to sharing on the blog and we just are so excited about how this bridal editorial turned out that we are sharing it a little bit differently than how we usually share our styled shoots. Rather than a modge podge collage of images we are bringing to you one picture at a time in all its beauty. These 3 ladies who modeled for us were just absolutely beautiful and did such a great job rocking our dresses while Izzy Hudgins captured them in all their glory. Michelle Royal did hair and makeup for us. Apricot Lane lent us some badass jewelry and accessories that we used to style these dresses and it was so fun accessorizing in new + unusual ways. This was so fun getting to capture all the dresses that we first opened shop with and will forever be a milestone in itself because it marks the beginnings of this little boutique called Ivory + Beau.

For part 1 of sharing our Bridal Lookbook we are starting with Sarah Seven. From the beginning of the planning process before opening we knew we wanted Sarah Seven. We love everything about her dresses and we knew her aesthetic truly fit with the bride we want to cater to: the bohemian, whimsical, unique and lovely bride. For the bride who would rather feel like a fairy on her wedding day than a princess, or the hippy bride who dreams of getting married in nature, or the bride who is not afraid of a whole lot of sparkle. Sarah Seven we just adore and we cannot wait to check out her new collection this October to see what new beauties we will be adding to our shop!! Anyway, hope you enjoy part 1 and to see more of our editorial you can check out the other designers here: Elaya Vaughn, Rebecca Schoneveld and Faith Thornburg. Anyway, hope you enjoy and to make an appointment contact us at (912)200-4794, ivoryandbeau@gmail.com or click here to schedule an appointment!

DESIGNER FEATURE: Sarah Seven

Can't really believe I am just now getting around to writing this post... because I mean we seriously love Sarah Seven. When first getting started thinking about what designers we wanted to carry we knew that Sarah Seven was for sure one of them. And seeing her dresses at Bridal Market in New York just validated our love for Sarah Seven and our desire to have her styles in our store. So that being said, today I'm talking all about why we love us some Sarah Seven. Also, our End of Summer Sample Sale is going on now through Saturday September 20th! If you are a Sarah Seven bride, scroll down to see which styles are included in the sale. Call us at (912)200-4794, e-mail at ivoryandbeau@gmail.com or click here to schedule your appointment!

1. These dresses are made for the unique bride. Seriously though. These dresses are made for the bride who does not want to look like every other bride out there. These dresses are made for the bride who wants her personality to shine on her wedding day. She wants to stand out. She is trendy, fabulous and secure in all her own quirky ways. All-over gold sequins? She's got it. Blush and airy? She's got it. Silver sequins like a milky way pattern? She's got it. And they're all fabulous and definitely the right dress for that bride who is ready to grab everyone's attention and hold it.

2. Do you dream of looking like a whimsical bohemian fairy on your wedding day? If so, Sarah Seven is the designer for you. From sparkly lace that shimmers and shines to softer than soft organza that billows in the wind to buttery lace fabric that floats while moving, these dresses are just perfect.

3. Sarah Seven found her signature and did it right and with that she grew her brand from that signature. Every Sarah Seven dress (for the most part) has a similar corset top with similar bra cup and sweetheart neckline, which now is the key attribute in Sarah Seven dresses that make it easy to tell when a bride is rocking Sarah Seven. Some of our most popular Sarah Seven styles have been Elizabeth, Helene and Keats. Elizabeth with its romantic beaded lace top with chiffon skirt, Helene with its fabulous soft lace and Keats with its beautiful drape work and airy silk chiffon. These dresses may all have a similar corset and boning yet are three completely different looks for three completely different style of brides.

Are you a Sarah Seven bride? If so, come shop with us while some of her hottest styles are available for 15-20% during our End of Summer Sample Sale!! Call us at (912)200-4794, e-mail at ivoryandbeau@gmail.com or click here to schedule your appointment while we still have availability!

SIMPLY BORROWED: Nautical at the Marshes

Today is a styled shoot brought to you by Bittersweet Beau Photo and Design!  It was shot at a private residence at Whitmarsh Island, and even features a boat! The dress is Gwen by Sarah Seven, and is one of our favorites! She has just the right amount of sparkle, and a low open back. Brides love her bateau neckline and cap sleeves. She reminds us of the 4th of July, fireworks and romantic evenings <3

{STYLED SHOOT} Southwestern in the Marsh

If you haven't already noticed I am in love with anything Southwestern... as shown in this post here + here + here annnnnd here. So it was seriously the most exciting thing ever to finally get to style and design a Southwestern themed shoot and even more exciting that we got to work with so many awesome vendors in Savannah!!!!! The magical photographer, Mackensey Alexander, photographed all the details + our gorgeous faux bride and groom. Our bride's hair and makeup were by Mandy Boyd + Jessica Mock of Dollface by Jules, who did a seriously phenomenal job... I am so in love with that fishtail braid in her half updo. She wore one of our Sarah Seven gowns from the Gold Label. Urban Poppy did the funky + super fun floral arrangements and bouquet and Thrive Cafe Catering made the cake and all the yummy Southwestern inspired treats!! Melissa Hagerty provided us paintings she had done for our placemats at the table. This shoot was also fun because my roommate, (guitarist, singer + drummer Randy Cuba) was our ceremony musician + Adrienna's boyfriend, Woody, was our officiant!!!! Hope you enjoy!!! And for more on the shoot check out this post here on our blog and this post on here on Mackensey's blog!!! Thanks again to all the awesome vendors who collaborated with us!!
