SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Ti Adora + Modern Summer Sunset

We love this Ti Adora gown that we just got in!! It is so soft and romantic with its beading, soft lace, and tulle overlay. Perfect for a summer sunset wedding with peachy ombre inspiration, lots of candlelight and my favorite David Austin Juliet Garden Roses. Ti Adora's collection is one of our newest additions to our inventory and we love these dresses not just for their pretty details but they also give our brides a lower price point option since they range from $1200-$2000. SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Shipwrecked + Goodbye to Summer

Can ya'll believe it's almost September!?! Oh my gosh I can't even begin to describe how fast this year has gone by. And now it's wedding season all over again!!! Simply Savannah Events has its first wedding this fall next Saturday at the Trustee's Garden. I could not be more excited for all the upcoming weddings we have! They are all going to be so different + so unique. From a preppy navy + pink wedding, to a peach, blush + ivory whimsical wedding, to a bird-lover's rustic vintage wedding, to a handmade wedding with origami cranes, to a shabby chic Pennsylvania barn wedding, to a last minute elegant wedding, to an ombre purple wedding for a reality show contestant, and ending the year with a rustic vintage shabby chic tented wedding in a field. Going to be amazing... cannot wait to see how they all turn out!!! Plus, LOTS of exciting news coming shortly... stay tuned.

Here is my goodbye summer nautical wedding inspiration! I will miss the hot sweaty weather + mosquitoes dearly.

SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Pool Party

I know I know... you are looking at this inspiration board thinking it's not summertime anymore. But whatever, because the Savannah weather lately is basically summer to us native Oregonians. There is nothing I love more than laying out by the pool on a warm day reading a good book or even better... napping in a hammock. I love the idea of having a wedding pool party... how fun would that be to have your guests bring their swimsuits and hop in the pool after your ceremony? I think with the right guest list (think mature adults and not a bunch of screaming kids lolol) it could be a really fun unique wedding setting. One of my favorite venues in Savannah, the Mackey House, has a really neat pool on their patio. At one of our weddings there we had a floating canvas with their initials on it in the pool along with floating candles. Although the candles struggled at staying lit, it created a really nice soft ambiance. I think having loose flowers in the pool would also be a pretty way to spruce up the area if you are not going to have guests in the pool. Who else is now craving a warm summer day by the pool with a pina colada???
