SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Floral + BHLDN Bridal Shower

All it takes is one piece to get inspiration for an event. In this case, I spotted those Lenox Floral Fusion Plates on Hayneedle and I instantly was like... bridal shower!? Yes please. I think those plates deserve some gold flatware, like most other events to be completely honest... and lots of bold floral details. I loved the modern vases from Chive, which I think when combined with the more vintage looking plates will create a fusion of styles that is both girly, modern, vintage and pretty all at the same time... if that's even possible, which I'm going to say is of course possible because anything is possible, right? {Bright Idea Thursday} The Tea Room Savannah

I had the most wonderful time at The Tea Room Savannah with Ginny Payne of  Studio GAP Photography recently and can't believe I haven't been there before!! We had a delicious meal and excellent tea. You may not know this, but I love tea and love London, British, Girly Tea Parties, English themes, British accents, Hugh Grant; I think you get the picture!! Anyways, after going out for a nice girls date, I thought this would be an amazing bridal luncheon or bridal shower location. You must stop by and see their shop too, it's filled with tea cups, silverware, gifts, cards, and loose tea that you can buy. {Organic Wednesday} Scentsations by Julie

I recently went to a Women In Business Expo and happened across a women who makes the most AMAZING bath products. I'm a huge fan of Nourish who was a previous post but sometimes you like a little change. Scentsations by Julie is for those who are looking for that European French inspired fragrance that is a little more sophisticated. I'm such a sucker for bath products and CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MANY!

One of my FAVORITE Etsy shops is Potter and Butler! Check out their unique cake banner that happily and effortlessly proclaims the significance of the moment - joyfully shouting for all to hear (in its own subtle way) exactly for whom or why it is that all are gathered to celebrate.  

Mr & Mrs banners 

Jennie Speakman's Etsy shop Studio1621 creates personalized banners (she is making me one for my business!!) You can buy a Mr. & Mrs. banner made of 4x4 white chipboard. Paint stamped black letters, black ink distressed edges all on black feathered ribbon. Connect ribbon for one large banner or keep separate. Lightweight and durable, but can be hung with tape. 

Just married banner 

Another great Etsy shop is Victorianstation's. This creamy vanilla burlap with chocolate brown font and blush fabric hearts creates a nice getaway car Just Married banner. 

Vintage ribbon cake bunting 

Similar to Potter and Butler's cake banner, this Etsy shop makes cute cake bunting for any special occasion! This one is made from vintage ribbon sewn together then strung onto gray thread and attached to food safe bamboo skewers.
