THOUGHTS TUESDAY: Chloe + Isabel

DESIGNER FEATURE: Nicole Miller Fall 2015

This weekend we have an amazing trunk show, the Nicole Miller Fall 2015 line! We will have these gowns this weekend ONLY, so this is an exclusive event! Not only can you see all of their new gowns that just hit stores, but you will receive 10% off. Her gowns are elegant and modern, with great attention to fit and construction. One of the best things Nicole Miller does is her signature ruching and intricate back detail. Just check out the criss cross strap details in Celine and Morgan! SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Saint Isabel Trunk Show + Fuchsia Garden

We are loving this styled shoot from Green Wedding Shoes featuring the Sofia gown by Saint Isabel. It features pops of pink in an industrial setting, with a block printed backdrop by Rachel LaBarre. We created an inspiration board off of this shoot, and added some pops of orange with the stationary and cake! We love the crochet lace on Sofia, with the silk charmeuse skirt, a great combination of vintage and modern. We have the Sofia gown through February 7th during our Saint Isabel trunk show! SIMPLY WED: Ellesse + Bobby

Ellesse and Bobby's wedding at The Mackey House was so creative and fun! They were amazing clients who really let us come up with crazy ideas, and loved it all! They wanted a wildflower themed wedding, with pops of red. We did their flowers, and knew we wanted it to be different! Her bouquet was a mix of wildflowers, mini daisies and lisianthus, while her bridesmaids had babys breath, queens anns lace and ferns. Her isle-way featured fern bunches with lavender accents. The show stopper were her hanging test tube chandeliers! Made by Grace Graffiti, each test tube had stems of flowers, while the tables had mis-matched bottles with flowers. SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Flower Ceremony + Ti Adora Trunk Show

I'm the kind of person who loves celebrity gossip. So of course I was all over the Kim Kardashian/Kanye wedding. My favorite thing wasn't her dress, or the fabulous location... but was the ceremony backdrop! Getting married in front of a wall of flowers is heavenly (and must smell amazing!) This gown by Ti Adora would be perfect for an all white garden wedding, with it's sweet swiss dot detail, cap sleeve, and ivory hue.

Here at Ivory and Beau, we love Alvina Valenta, and when we found out they were going to have another line, we knew we had to have it! That line is Ti Adora, and features gorgeous dresses at a great price point, all under $2000! Ti Adora has soft, vintage inspired dresses, luxe embroidery, and fine beadwork. SIMPLY BRIDAL: Chaviano Couture Trunk Show {Country Chic}

Chaviano Couture gowns are elegant and etherial. Rose, the newest gown from Chaviano Couture, is a beautiful lace gown, complete with a scalloped hem. We can see this dress at garden wedding, so soft, so romantic. We especially love the idea of mixing pops of orange and citrus colors when you do a garden theme. The bright colors look amazing next to soft greens and whites.

When we schedule a Pop-Up Shop with a bridal designer we have an idea of what we are going to get but we don't always know everything we are going to get. And oh my goodness gracious were we going crazy when we opened the box from Veronica Sheaffer. A blush, grey + navy blue dress? Made of the softest finest materials ever? Handcrafted beautifully to perfection? We were in love. Needless to say both Adrienna + I looked at each other and just swooned for a few minutes. These were by far some of our favorites from the collection. But oh you just wait because the prettiness does not end there. Next up... swiss dots, tea length, vintage inspired...

Both Adrienna + I also love swiss dots. So so much. So so so so much. They are our favorites. So when we saw these swiss dot beauties we fell in love. These dresses are so beautiful with their vintage inspired retro feel to them. We just love them so much. They are perfect for the southern vintage glam bride. Just absolutely perfect. But that's really not all... we got a lot of dresses from Veronica. I mean seriously a lot.

Last but not least here are some more of our favorites from her Fall 2014 collection. Blush pink leather corset top mixed with a lace skirt? I am just in love with the edginess of this dress combined with the skirt that is so girly and flowy. Such a fun mix of fabrics for the badass yet girly bride. All of these dresses just are so fun and so unique. I could go on for days but I will leave you at that. These aren't even all of the dresses from the collection that are currently at our shop... yes there are more. {STYLED SHOOT} Surprise Proposal for The NotWedding Savannah

We are so excited that we will be a vendor in The first Not Wedding in Savannah this coming Tuesday!!!! There are some awesome vendors that are going to be involved in this non-traditional bridal show that we are really excited to meet and work with!! So anyway, a few weeks ago we were contacted by Stephie Hicks to help coordinate this Surprise Proposal styled shoot for The Not Wedding. We took the theme of lemons, limes mixed with some serious preppiness and rolled with it... You can see the shoot too on The Not Wedding blog.

This shoot involved so many great vendors and we are so excited with how everything turned out!!! Yellow Door Creative was seriously amazing and actually drove down to Savannah from Atlanta to hand deliver her paper goods since there wasn't enough time to ship them. Emma designed the "Marry Me?" sign, champagne sign, dessert labels, yay and name flags! They were so cute and we hope to work with her again soon with some of our clients since she does some amazing designs!! Our bride wore a bridal separates top from Rebecca Schoneveld and we paired it with a few different accessories from Southern Ever After: a floral sash and two gorgeous headpieces. Grace Graffiti designed all of the wooden cut-outs such as the Georgia board and chalkboards. Our shoot had plenty of sweets: a full cookie bar provided by Byrd's Cookies and the most delicious ice cream sundaes you will ever have from Leopold's. I must say... since there was ice cream this was the first shoot where I actually didn't eat over 50 cookies. Nope, instead I gorged on lemon custard and mint chocolate chip ice cream. So... freaking... delicious. We styled and designed the tablescape and florals. We actually modge podged those boxes in a floral pattern that was designed by Adrienna while in college and then we added in some fun decor elements from Simply Southern. I would seriously suggest checking out Simply Southern's website... so many awesome fun decor items that you can purchase for your wedding day and the cutest cake stands you will ever see. The vintage china plates were provided by Fancy Plates and the napkins from Dot & Army. The chair decor + the chalkboard with their love story were both designed by Senseless Sophistication. Seriously huge thank you to all the vendors who made this shoot come together!!!!!! And thank you to Stephie Hicks for capturing every last detail!!

Today is the last day of the Lena Bridal Pop Up Shop! There is something about Lena Medoyeff bridal gowns that are just so whimsical and playful. They are perfect for the outdoor bride, who wants a fun + eclectic wedding. Who wants her guests to have a good time, and who wants a dress that reflects her personality. As soon as I saw images of bride Lindsey's wedding, and her amazing tattoo, it was instant inspiration!
