SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Saint Isabel Trunk Show + Fuchsia Garden
We are loving this styled shoot from Green Wedding Shoes featuring the Sofia gown by Saint Isabel. It features pops of pink in an industrial setting, with a block printed backdrop by Rachel LaBarre. We created an inspiration board off of this shoot, and added some pops of orange with the stationary and cake! We love the crochet lace on Sofia, with the silk charmeuse skirt, a great combination of vintage and modern. We have the Sofia gown through February 7th during our Saint Isabel trunk show! Appointments are booking fast, so make sure to set up an appointment!

SIMPLY BRIDAL: Gray Gowns
I love colored wedding gowns. Kind of obsessed. From blue to pink to gold, they add such personality to the bride, and show off her unique spirit. But what about gray? It's cool, flattering on all skin tones, and is perfect for the winter. I mean what would look better in the snow then a cool silver and gray dress? (Especially if it has sparkle!) And when you look at the photos below, look at how well it photographs! With so many shades, from soft white to a deep charcoal. Divine! So when you're looking for a dress, that's not white or ivory, think gray!

{Behind the Scenes} SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Green + Glam Styled Shoot
This is such a treat for me to share! Megan Laine Horry Finn from Pheonix Feather Photography posted her behind the scenes photographs from the Mint & Gold Styled shoot we did at the Southern Pine Company! First off, we have the talented Izzy of Izzy Hudgins Photography! She has such a gorgeous photography style that is very natural and she took some incredible photographs using the lighting outside and even got a glitter shot. She is so wonderful to work with and has such a laid back fun personality! Then below that, the gorgeous Heather of Beyond Beautiful. I loved the natural looks she gave both our bride and the bridesmaid for the shoot. Very gorgeous!! The coolest thing about the shoot, other than the shoot itself, was that the entire thing was documented by Vitor Lindo and assistants from the Institute of Cinematic Arts in Savannah. I think the funniest part of the whole day was sitting down with them and attempting to film a little snapshot of Layla and I explaining the inspiration behind the shoot and giving some info about the vendors. I definitely would not make it as an actress. I kept giggling constantly and I think we had to do about 4 takes and none of them were of much quality. Then, when we tried to say the "Institute of Cinematic Arts" that was a huge mess. I am pretty sure I kept trying to say cinematographic, cinematophy, cinemagraphic, cinema-WHAT?!?! :) Oh, and they also caught on camera me telling them they should try the cake pops even though they have non-edible glitter on them... Last but not least, me setting up the dessert table! This was so fun for me and I have been wanting to do something like this for a long time!! I have a major obsession with dessert tables and not just because I love anything sweet... but getting to eat all the treats (even the glitter covered cake pops was definitely a plus). Anyway, I hope you enjoy checking out the behind-the-scenes of our shoot! And if you are wondering what shoot I'm talking about... you can check it on the portfolio here or on GREEN WEDDING SHOES here!!!
Thanks to all the awesome vendors that were able to come together to make this dream a reality!!!! And now for the awesome video by Vitor!!!!
