BRIDESMAIDS MONDAY: Blush by Hayley Paige + Orange

Can you believe it's June? We sure can't! Time has been going so quickly at the shop, and summer is already flying by! Summer means bright colors, and one of the funnest colors to use is orange. This bold color doesn't need much to make a punch! There are so many hues you can use, from soft peaches to bright sunburnt orange (like the bridesmaids dress we picked) We were inspired by this shoot on Ruffled, with so many shades of orange! Plus, they used Lotus by Blush by Hayley Paige, which we have in the shop! She has soft chiffon lace and handkerchief hem details.

We are running out of space in the shop, so we added even more gowns as part of our summer sample sale! We have a rack under $1000, a rack of gowns that are $1000, and a section $1100-$2000. This is a great way to get a dress quick, and at a huge discount! Samples are in good to great condition, and range from size 2-14. Make sure to shop early to get the best selection!!

REAL BRIDE: Courtney + John

We think your wedding dress should not just be gorgeous, but comfortable. That is why we love gowns by Lena Medoyeff! All of her gowns are handmade in Portland, Oregon, and are make of 100% silk and fair trade lace. Courtney came in wanting a soft and comfortable gown, and we knew her and Lena would be a perfect match. She chose one with a v neck front, low v back, and flutter sleeves. It fit her perfectly, we it is so lightweight! And normally we talk just about the wedding dress.... but this time the grooms attire was top notch! We are IN LOVE with his burgundy suit, and honestly, I want my boyfriend Woody to get one!! Courtney + John's wedding was small and intimate, and the reception was held in the wine cellar at The Mansion on Forsyth. Thank you Kati Rosado for these gorgeous pictures!

With all of the nice weather we have had, we are thinking spring! And what better way to embrace spring then with a mood-board inspired by pops of turquoise + lace! We love the cotton lace of this classic gown by Blush by Hayley Paige. It features a champagne lining, gorgeous train, and fitted bodice. It's the perfect gown for a spring or summer wedding, and is both rustic and romantic! So kick of your heels and enjoy!

BRIDESMAIDS MONDAY: Lena Medoyeff + Cozy Knits

We love when designers come by for their Trunk Shows! This week we will have Lynn, the designer behind Lena Medoyeff. She will be at the store for appointments to help brides find their perfect gown! Having Lynn here means you can customize her gowns, and make it exactly how you want to!

Lynn's gowns are handmade in Portland, Oregon from all natural silk and 100% cotton. She only uses natural dyes in her gowns, so you know it is truly handmade. Today we have a wedding inspiration based off of her Christine gown, one of her most popular gowns at our shop! We love having an ivory and grey wedding, but adding a pop of coral for fun! SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Cranberry + Willow

We got quite a few new gowns last week, and we can't wait to show them off! We had a Blush by Hayley Paige trunk show this year, and instantly knew we wanted to add the gown Willow to our shop! She is so soft and romantic, with her layers of lace and english net and handkerchief lace detail. She has a fitted sweetheart top and comes with a grosgrain ribbon (but you can add some sparkle if you want! We have a ton to choose from at Ivory and Beau!) In celebration of the Holidays, we paired Willow with a cranberry and copper color scheme. Willow might look like a spring gown with her lace, but you can easily wear her in winter too!

DESIGNER FEATURE: Nicole Miller

I'll admit, Nicole and I were a little unsure about adding a new designer at market. We were especially unsure since we had never seen Nicole Miller Bridal in person. But all of this changed at market. Once we saw them in person we knew immediately we had to add them!! From her detailed laces, to her stretchy and comfortable silk, her gowns are perfect for every bride! So here are some of the many reasons we love Nicole Miller! We now have Nicole Miller gowns in our shop, so make sure to set up an appointment to try these lovely gowns on!

1. Handmade in the USA: These gowns are handmade in NYC. So that means amazing craftsmanship, American made, and the best quality! We strive to have USA made gowns here at Ivory and Beau, showing you can get a great gown right here at home.

2. Her gowns are classic: Nicole Miller is known for her clean lines and stretchy, body hugging gowns. Her gowns are sophisticated, chic with a modern touch. But she doesn't just do silk, she has an amazing selection of lace gowns that you are going to love! She has such a range, from her classic and fitted Dakota mermaid, to her sheath lace Jamie gown. So many styles to choose from!

3. Her Price: One of our favorite things about Nicole Miller is the price! Her gowns start at $1000! Handmade in the US and under $2500? Yes please! So brides, you don't have to spend thousands to get an amazing gown with impeccable quality!

4. Need a gown ASAP? But don't want to go to David's Bridal? Nicole Miller is perfect for you! Select gowns can be received within a week! Is your wedding in a year? No worry, we can place the order and have the standard bridal timeline of 4 - 6 months.

SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Bridal Separates + Rebecca Schoneveld Trunk Show

We are so excited for our upcoming Rebecca Schoneved trunk show! One of our favorite parts of Rebecca's collection are her bridal separates. With this line you can mix and match pieces to create your perfect dress, which is the best way to customize. It's amazing how much you can change the look of a dress with just an extra layer of lace! The top item our brides have been asking for are lace sleeves, and Rebecca has plenty to choose from! Today we have some of her top styles, and show how they can change the look of two dresses. From a long sleeve over an all lace gown, to an off the shoulder piece, all of them can be removed later, so once you start partying you can take it off and let loose!

We are almost booked for the trunk show, so make sure to set up your appointment now! 912-200-4794

THOUGHTS TUESDAY #11: Long Sleeves are In

We are listening to you brides and we are going to act on everything we are hearing that you want. And the #1 thing right now? Long sleeves, long sleeves, long sleeves. Even my best friend who is coming to shop with us is obsessed with long sleeves and its a must have for her wedding dress. And this coming weekend through the 25th we have 3 events going on with some really awesome long sleeve wedding dress options. [Side note: did you know if we have a designer coming up at a Trunk Show or Pop-Up Shop you can request specific dresses + we will contact our designers directly to see if we can get it in just for you to try on. We are all about helping you find the dress of your dreams!!] Back to my blog post though... so we are loving long sleeves and according to the brides who have been coming into our shop, so are ya'll. So today I'm going to share 3 of my absolute favorite long sleeve wedding dresses we will have this upcoming weekend! But that's not all, we will have more options available and to schedule an appointment you can call (912)200-4794, e-mail ivoryandbeau@gmail.com or click here!

1. Karen Willis Holmes Bridal will be at the shop Sat October 18th - Sat October 25th. Her dresses are for the sexy bride who wants to also show a hint of her feminine side on her wedding day. This dress, Arielle, is one of my absolute favorites from her Bespoke Collection and we cannot wait to have it at the shop for brides to try on!! With the low dip in the front to the soft lace with floral appliques it is just so so pretty.

2. Oh Rebecca Schoneveld, how we love you and your bridal separates which give brides so many options to create their perfect dress. The Brooke long sleeve lace overlay is made of the softest lace and perfect for the bride who really wants to show off her girly and feminine side on her wedding day. This look is elegant and timeless. Rebecca Schoneveld's Trunk Show is only going on Thurs October 16th through Sat October 18th and her collection features some awesome bridal separate options. So if you are interested in a couture custom look without spending the money necessary for a couture custom dress then this Trunk Show is the perfect time to come shop with us.

3. For the rocker chic bride, & For Love's Celestine long sleeve lace gown is a little more edgy with a thicker lace pattern, a higher neckline and a looser fit. I am obsessed with the scalloped lace and low back detail and the low cut in the front covered by the lace. It is sexy and badass to me all at the same time. We will also have this collection Sat October 18th through Sat October 25th for those brides looking for an edgier bridal gown.

What do you think of long sleeve lace wedding dresses? Which look is your favorite? We love to hear your feedback and we hope to see you in our shop soon to try on some of these beautiful gowns!

BRIDAL LOOKBOOK 1.0 {part 4} Rebecca Schoneveld

Oh Rebecca Schoneveld how you hold our hearts. We saw Rebecca at Market after meeting with Jaclyn Jordan, who said go to Rebecca, and we were instantly oohing, aahing and head over heels in love. We wanted everything. We loved her. We gushed and she just laughed at us thinking we were silly. But anyway, we love her pieces. They are all handmade in Brooklyn, New York with an impeccable attention to detail. Her dresses are made of the finest, softest fabrics and are so romantic and pretty. In addition to her fabulous dresses, Rebecca also makes bridal separates. So brides can hand pick the top that fits them best there with the skirt that flows just right. So anyway here are all the images from our Bridal Lookbook 1.0 with Izzy Hudgins. Hair and makeup by Michelle Royal and accessories from Apricot Lane. To see the other designers: Sarah SevenElaya Vaughn and Faith Thornburg. And to shop Rebecca Schoneveld, call us at (912)200-4794, e-mail ivoryandbeau@gmail.com or click here!!
