BRIDESMAIDS MONDAY: Celia Grace
One of the coolest and funnest dresses of our Celia Grace trunk show is the Marie Dress! From first glance she looks like a normal lace gown, with a gorgeous tear drop lace pattern. But she has a secret! She is actually a convertible dress! The bottom half of her dress comes off to reveal a super cute short number, plus her train can also be removed! This gown you can really wear again after your wedding, and give it a second life! (honeymoon dress anyone?) We will have Marie, plus her newest collection, through this Saturday, April 25th ONLY! So just a few more days! We are almost booked for this Saturday, so set up an appointment online!

BRIDESMAIDS MONDAY: Rooftop Deck + Cicada Bridal
For the next few months we will have variety of designers in our shop that are part of Wed Altered, a sustainable and eco-friendly bridal designer collective! This month we have Cicada, out of Seattle! These gowns are elegant, traditional, and classic. They have such amazing construction and fit, and gorgeous fabrics. When they sent us this image of their Jessica gown, we swooned! We love a rooftop wedding, especially at dusk when the skyline starts to twinkle <3 What better color palate to have then Navy + Green! It brings in the night sky with a touch of nature.

BRIDESMAIDS MONDAY: Lena Medoyeff + Cozy Knits
We love when designers come by for their Trunk Shows! This week we will have Lynn, the designer behind Lena Medoyeff. She will be at the store for appointments to help brides find their perfect gown! Having Lynn here means you can customize her gowns, and make it exactly how you want to!
Lynn's gowns are handmade in Portland, Oregon from all natural silk and 100% cotton. She only uses natural dyes in her gowns, so you know it is truly handmade. Today we have a wedding inspiration based off of her Christine gown, one of her most popular gowns at our shop! We love having an ivory and grey wedding, but adding a pop of coral for fun! Add some cozy sweaters and handmade knitted blankets, and you have the perfect winter wedding.
To set up an appointment for the Lena Medoyeff Trunk Show January 10th - 17th, call us at 912-200-4794!

DESIGNER FEATURE: Lena Medoyeff
It's not a surprise we love Lynn at Lena Medoyeff. She is kind, so supportive, and her gowns are stunning. When we had a trunk show with her last year, they were a huge hit, and we knew we had to add her! We added the Christine + Kristin gown, and we they have been so popular! One of the best parts of Lynn's gowns are how customizable they are. Want long sleeves? Can do! Want a high neckline? Yep! Keyhole back? Of course! She is able to make the dress of your dreams with her signature lace (Make sure to watch the video for her story! She is an amazing woman!) Below are all the ways the Kristin gown has been styled! She is one of our most popular gowns to be borrowed for styled shoot, and we LOVE seeing her in pictures! That lace is beyond amazing!
We are really excited to bring Lynn back to Savannah for her trunk show January 10th - 17th! This is a perfect opportunity for brides who love Lena gowns, since you will be able to meet the designer, and make the dress of your dreams! This only happens once a year, so make sure to set up your appointment before they are gone!

POP UP SHOP: PURE MAGNOLIA
About the Designer + Dresses: Patty Nayel is the designer behind Pure Magnolia. Her gowns are handmade in Vancouver, Canada using sustainable fabrics. The dresses are made with European laces, Indian silks, organic cottons, vintage and recycled fabrics. Adrienna is the knowledgeable one when it comes to fabrics + textiles, so I must say it was really quite interesting reading through Pure Magnolia's detailed page about the fabrics they use in their gowns and I just had to share some interesting tidbits of what I learned about what "sustainable fabrics" really means. The Silk Chiffon they use is reclaimed, from high end lingerie manufacturing companies scrap bit's that are leftover. These pieces are swept up, attached together or used in smaller bits to add texture or volume in a gown. The Dupioni Silk Organza that they use is a special kind that is made from breeder cocoons... meaning the little silk worms get to escape and live as a moth. Whoa, see... isn't this interesting? Or maybe it's just me. I guess I am just fascinated by learning about this kind of thing. Anyway moving on... their Silk Dupioni fabric also has an interesting story behind it. It is produced in India on a family farm that uses a sustainable method to dye the fabric. There is a lot of water used when dying fabrics; however, this family has developed a method of purifying the water so that they can re-use the water afterwards to irrigate their fields. All in all, these dresses are pretty fantastic and gorgeous and we are so excited to have them at Ivory + Beau!!! If you are interested in coming in to check out these pretties, call us at (912)200-4794, e-mail at ivoryandbeau@gmail.com or click here to fill out our Appointment Request form!
