SIMPLY BORROWED: New Years + Sarah Seven Golden Lights

We love New Years, not only because it's Adrienna's birthday and she is super awesome, but because of sparkle! It's the perfect day to wear glitter and not be judged! If we could wear Golden Lights by Sarah Seven every day, we totally would. So when photographer Marianne Lucille came to us saying they were doing a New Years shoot at Cohen's Retreat, we knew the perfect gown! Golden Lights is 1/3 sparkle, 1/3 romantic and 1/3 FUN! We love all of the ideas Emily Fogarty + J Leslie Wedding Decor came up with, from gold balloons to the striped invitations, to the sequin linens. Cohen's Retreat is the perfect backdrop for every wedding and party, it transforms with every theme. This shoot is so fabulous, it was featured on Style Me Pretty this past New Years! BRIDAL LOOKBOOK 1.0 {part 1} Sarah Seven

Gosh we are so behind in sharing this on our blog but finally getting to it only who knows how many long months after first posting our only Issuu of our first ever Bridal Lookbook, which you can see here. Anyway, finally getting around to sharing on the blog and we just are so excited about how this bridal editorial turned out that we are sharing it a little bit differently than how we usually share our styled shoots. Rather than a modge podge collage of images we are bringing to you one picture at a time in all its beauty. These 3 ladies who modeled for us were just absolutely beautiful and did such a great job rocking our dresses while Izzy Hudgins captured them in all their glory. Michelle Royal did hair and makeup for us. Apricot Lane lent us some badass jewelry and accessories that we used to style these dresses and it was so fun accessorizing in new + unusual ways. This was so fun getting to capture all the dresses that we first opened shop with and will forever be a milestone in itself because it marks the beginnings of this little boutique called Ivory + Beau.

For part 1 of sharing our Bridal Lookbook we are starting with Sarah Seven. From the beginning of the planning process before opening we knew we wanted Sarah Seven. We love everything about her dresses and we knew her aesthetic truly fit with the bride we want to cater to: the bohemian, whimsical, unique and lovely bride. For the bride who would rather feel like a fairy on her wedding day than a princess, or the hippy bride who dreams of getting married in nature, or the bride who is not afraid of a whole lot of sparkle. Sarah Seven we just adore and we cannot wait to check out her new collection this October to see what new beauties we will be adding to our shop!! Anyway, hope you enjoy part 1 and to see more of our editorial you can check out the other designers here: Elaya Vaughn, Rebecca Schoneveld and Faith Thornburg. Anyway, hope you enjoy and to make an appointment contact us at (912)200-4794, ivoryandbeau@gmail.com or click here to schedule an appointment!
