DESIGNER FEATURE: Meet Jaclyn Jordan

We hope you had an amazing Christmas! We are so excited to let everyone know that we will have accessory designer Jaclyn Jordan in the shop this weekend! She will be in Saturday helping brides find the perfect accessories from her line, Jaclyn Jordan NYC. We've already written why we love Jaclyn here, but we have even more reasons now that we will have all of her items during this weekend! During her trunk show, you will be able to see all of her newest veils and sashes, which are amazing!! Today we are going to talk about a girls two best friends: sparkle + lace!

Brides love sparkle! And they should! What other day of your life are you allowed to wear as many rhinestones and pearls as you want?! (Well, maybe except for New Years!) Jaclyn does sparkle so well! One of our favorite new items she has introduced this collection are her beaded boleros. They are the perfect way to add sparkle to any gown, as both a statement piece, and a substitute for a necklace.

Another think Jaclyn does perfect is her lace and tulle. This season she has added tulle skirts + lace overlays! These are a great way to add to your gown. Whether you want some tulle, or some lace, Jaclyn has what you want! We love her two layer tulle skirt Lark, it's so versatile! You can add it to any of our gowns for an extra touch of whimsey, and remove it for the reception so you can party. Are you looking for lace sleeves, but want to be able to take them off later? Then her lace overlays and boleros are perfect. They allow you to add coverage, but are completely removable!

THOUGHTS TUESDAY: All Over Lace Veils

Today I am here to talk all about the veil. Now for those of you who know me you know I am not traditional or girly when it comes to style. But that being said, I love veils. Just love love love. One of my favorite moments working in bridal is that moment you are working with a bride and she loves a dress and so you put on a veil and its just magic. Cue water works, cue tears. I love that moment. I think it is so special and so magical and so perfect. Its that moment when a girl goes from being a girl to being a bride. Its that moment when she can finally picture herself walking down that aisle to the love of her life. Its that moment when everything becomes a reality and she is finally imagining spending the rest of her life with someone. Its such a romantic and perfect moment when everything is real. That all being said... when I saw this veil on Green Wedding Shoes designed by Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen I was well I guess I was speechless. It is quite possibly the most beautiful veil I have ever seen in my entire life. I showed Adrienna and we just knew we had to have one to offer our awesome Ivory + Beau brides. Luckily we are fortunate enough that we work with local accessories designer, Nicki OConnell of Adele Amelia, who we were able to commission to make one for us, which now is posted atop a mannequin for all to see upon entering our store. And its just as beautiful as I could have ever imagined. I cannot wait for the day one of our brides falls in love with this veil just as we so have. Anyway, scroll below to see the veil that inspired us!!

**Adele Amelia is available for custom bridal accessories for brides as well - if you are interested in scheduling an appointment to come in and try on your dress and talk custom pieces call us at (912)200-4794, e-mail ivoryandbeau@gmail.com or click here to schedule an appointment! Nicki is awesome and loves working one on one with brides to put together the perfect piece to complete their bridal look!!

DESIGNER FEATURE: Adele Amelia

Here at Ivory and Beau we strive to create a one of a kind experience for all of our brides. One way we are able to do this is to have an exclusive accessories designer! Adele Amelia is designed by Nicki, who lives right here in Savannah. That means she is available to make custom accessories, from sashes to veils, locally! Do you want a custom lace veil? She can do it. Can't seem to match your bridesmaid dresses, but want a matching sash? She can find you the right sash and custom make you the perfect accent! Looking for a birdcage in gold? We have one! Having a local designer means YOU can become the designer! Anything you have in mind, she can make. Another amazing part of having Nicki local is that she can make items last minute. Is your wedding this weekend, but you still need a veil? She can do it! (In fact, this happened this month!) If you're interested in setting up an appointment with Nicki, give us a call at 912-200-4794!

SIMPLY PUBLISHED: {Style Me Pretty Georgia} Savannah Bridal Shoot Inspiration

When Sawyer Baird approached us last minute about borrowing a dress and accessories for a styled shoot we looked at her photography and instantly said yes please. Her photography is just magical and so pretty. Sawyer borrowed one of the Ivana Krejci gowns that we had for our Pop-Up Shop with the designer this past spring and used a Jaclyn Jordan veil and a Twigs & Honey headpiece. The shoot took place at a private residence in Savannah. Michelle Royal did hair and makeup for the beautiful model, Sawyer Greenberg, who also was a model for this shoot I did back in the day with Shannon Christopher. The beautiful calligraphy and florals in this shoot are by Sarah Ingram and are so lovely and pretty.  Anyway, so excited to share that this shoot was featured on Style Me Pretty Georgia today!!! Such a great feature so make sure to check out all the little details of everything and thank you again to Sawyer for photographing our items so beautifully!

DESIGNER FEATURE: Marisol Aparicio

August 9th through August 16th we are going to have lots of pretty pretty pretty accessories from designer Marisol Aparicio. During the Pop-Up Shop we will be offering an extra 10% off any accessory purchased during the event!!! The collection is handmade in the United States by the family itself. To schedule an appointment call us at (912)200-4794, e-mail at ivoryandbeau@gmail.com or click here!! **We love it when brides bring in their dresses (from here or elsewhere) so that we can have an accessories dress-up day to see what accessories are perfect to help you complete your look!!

1. Lace lace lace trimmed veils. Beautiful lace veils. These lace veils are just phenomenal and are also affordable. With prices ranging from $110 to $250 these are awesome options for brides who love the look of a gorgeous lace veil but don't want to overspend on their accessories. From Alencon Lace from France to Floral lace that either frame the face or trim the entire veil, we just love these pretty delicate veils.

2. Unique lace appliques... these are so different from any other veils we have available in our shop. If you are not wanting a veil entirely trimmed with lace than these are a perfect option for you because they have lace appliques either in one area of the veil or spread out along the veil. A more subtle yet still gorgeous option.

3. Garden inspired headpieces with soft floral accents. We are so in love with all these headpieces which incorporate flowers!!! So pretty and perfect for an outdoors wedding in a garden. They are romantic and stunning. The headpieces range from $95 to $400.

4. Bohemian with some bling. You all probably know by now we love anything bohemian. That being said we also love a little glitz, a little glam and some major bling. So we are loving how these headpieces combine bohemian with bling for a new bridal look.

So excited for this Pop-Up Shop and we can't wait to see which accessories are bride's favorites!!
