I am so excited to share Emily + Matt's wedding today. This was such a stunning wedding that took place at the Charles H Morris Center with some really fabulous vendors. Rach Lea captured all the details of their big day. The moody romantic fall flowers and decor were by Amy Harvey Designs. I loved how unique the palette was and the mix of fall colors with succulents, a combination that I have not seen that often. The girls were made over by Michelle Royal and looked so stunning. The ceremony itself took place out on the grassy bluff area overlooking the Savannah River with violin music played by our favorite, Chris Dooley. Their ceremony backdrop incorporated lanterns, pumpkins, gourds and mossy details and the ceremony itself took place during sunset. After the ceremony guests mingled and enjoyed the cigar bar on the outdoor patio area. The reception was catered by Berry's Catering and the delicious cake was by KM Cake Designs. Later in the night on the outdoor patio the couple had a fresh pralines action bar by Savannah Sweets and oh my smokes these were the best things you have ever had in your life. I would highly recommend this dessert station to anybody who wants to treat their guests to some delicious indulgences. Their evening ended with a sparkler exit with a luxury Timeless Motorcoach vintage car to whisk them on their happily wed way.
Huge congratulations to the happy couple + to see/read more about their wedding make sure to pick up the newest issue of Savannah Weddings Magazine where their wedding is featured!!

SIMPLY WED: Larissa + Adam
So excited to share Larissa and Adam's fall wedding with you all today!! This wedding was such a lovely wedding that took place at two venues that we had never worked at before and it was great getting to know both venues and to see the spaces. The ceremony took place at the gorgeous gardens at the Davenport House and was simply lovely. The reception followed at 45 Bistro at Marshall House. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! The food was delicious and the space is very European bistro to me. Larissa and Adam had such a unique fall wedding that was so different from any of the others one we did last fall with the soft color palette of blush, minty colors, and pale yellows and the centerpieces were designed beautifully by Harvey Designs with pumpkins, gourds and succulents. Two Chics Photography captured all the details of their wedding day while Vitor Lindo captured everything on video. Entertainment was provided by New Arts Ensemble and the Traveling Riverside Band. Amazing Event Rentals set up the ceremony rentals and Officiant Nancy of Nancy's Nuptials performed their ceremony. The scrumptious dessert bar was by Delectable Designs. Last but not least, hair and makeup was by Eye Do Hair and Makeup.
Anyway, thank you to Two Chics for sharing the wedding with us and huge thank you to Larissa and Adam for letting us be a part of their big day and HUGE congratulations on your recent marriage!!! We wish you the very best as you begin your lives together!!!

SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Pomegranate
Lately Nicole has been bringing in pomegranates to work everyday. I used to not be a huge fan of these seeded fruits, but they've been growing on me. Especially when she spills it all over the floor. Now our store smells like an air freshener. What I find most inspiring about them are their color. That rich red and cream colored center is the perfect palate for fall (especially since fall is when they are in season!) Did you know that each pomegranate has anywhere from 200-1400 seeds? That's a lot of reasons to fall in love with this fall classic. (Like my pun?!)

SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Antler Love
Sooo... I have a love affair with antlers. I mean realllllly big love affair. They are my favorite. And my vendor-love-friends know it so much that when brainstorming a new styled shoot with a vendor friend she told me no antlers Nicole. Because she knows I love them. And she knows I would obviously try to find a place to squeeze them in. So anyway, now that it's finally fall... here is some antler love for all you fellow antler lovers out there.

{Sneak Peak} SIMPLY WED: Melissa & Antonio
Last weekend's wedding was a really great wedding! I was so excited to finally have my first stationary project and was actually the designer of the escort cards and the ceremony programs! I loved putting them together and coming up with designs for the couple using the bride's Pinterest board for inspiration! The ceremony took place at Whitefield Square in downtown Savannah and the reception was at the Richmond Hill City Center. It was such a lovely wedding with one of my favorite color combinations, navy and orange. The decor was really cute with burlap table runners, lace overlays, and vintage candlestick holders. The amazing florals were done by Layla Mayville, previous owner and she did an absolutely amazing job! I cannot wait to see the professional photography by Alexis Sweet, the same photographer from the Bohemian photo shoot I modeled for! I think my favorite moment of their wedding was their last song! It was seriously adorable... the couple danced in the center of everyone holding hands. In the middle of the song Antonio held up Melissa and they danced in a circle. I am not going to lie, it was so cute I was definitely holding back a few happy tears. It was such a special moment and I feel so lucky to have gotten a chance to witness it. I would love to have a last dance like theirs. You could feel the love for the couple in the room and it was just... too precious for me to ever be able to describe fully. Congratulations to the lucky couple! And thank you so much for choosing Simply Savannah Events! Here are some sneak peaks of their big day with some photos from my iPhone via Instagram!

{Sneak Peak} SIMPLY WED: Amber & Patrick
Amber & Patrick are friends with Layla Mayville, previous owner of Simply Savannah Events, and so it was a lot of fun for us to work at their wedding! It was a very laid back and relaxed day that was decorated gorgeously with lovely floral arrangements done by Layla with help from me, and some fall accents like hay bales and pumpkins. The color palette was yellow, gray & a deep purple and was so pretty for fall! The ceremony took place at Forsyth Park by the fountain and the reception was at the Trustee's Garden, also known as the Charles H Morris Center! The only bad thing I have to say about the Trustee's Garden is that there are prickly things in the grass that get stuck to your feet and are kind of sort of really super painful... but other than that it is a gorgeous location and so perfect for a rustic vintage wedding! Hope you enjoy checking out the sneak peak of the event! :) And seriously how flipping adorable is their elephant cake topper!? I just showed my boyfriend & he smiled at me! Haha. But I am not sure if it is cuter than the little girl who decided to take a nap at the end of the evening...
