SIMPLY BORROWED: Savannah Weddings Spring Cover Shoot

We are so happy to be featured in Savannah Wedding's Magazine multiple times! One of the features was the cover shoot, photographed by Izzy Hudgins and styled by French Knot Studio's! They used our River gown by Blush by Hayley Paige + Marlo by Elaya Vaughn. River is a dupioni mermaid, with horsehair skirt and detachable beaded bolero. Marlo is made of the softest silk charmeuse with criss cross back and beaded shoulders. They are both stunning! We LOVE the pops of yellow and hot pink, especially against the crisp white of the Jepson Museum. We love the pops of hot pink and fuchsia, mixed with a soft blue sofa from Savannah Vintage Rentals. This power due borrowed our Willow gown by Love Found True, which is a sparkly t shirt dress, with open keyhole back and chiffon skirt. Best part? Our sample is on sale for $250 this month only!! SIMPLY ENGAGED: Daniela + Pedro

We are seriously obsessed with this engagement shoot of our couple Daniela + Pedro! Shot by Izzy Hudgins Photography, it features everything you want in an engagement shoot. Props, (Balloons and a teal vespa? YES PLEASE!) food (cotton candy. Yum!) and your best friend, who happens to be four legged, and the cutest you have ever seen! We love how their personality shines through in the pictures. Pedro is relaxed and centered, and Daniela is bright, fun and exciting. We are so excited for their wedding this Summer at The Morris Center! So sit back, relax, and enjoy !

1. Date engaged? May 4th 2014

2. How & where you met? - We both came to Savannah for SCAD. We met at a Latino party through friends in common. Of course it had to be over a round of shots!

3. The proposal? We were in Cancun visiting my sister. The day before returning from the trip, Sunday May 4th, it was late in the evening and we were in one of the hotels Yachts. Pedro got down on one knee and proposed in front of my whole family :)

4. Why Savannah? We met in Savannah and getting married in the same town where we met feels right. Savannah is beautiful and we know that a couple of years from know we can look back and know we'll always have Savannah as that special place. <3

5. Wedding Date? June 27th 2015

6. What are you looking forward to most on your wedding day? We are looking forward to having all of our family and friends come from out of the country and share this special day with all of them. It is very important for us to have as many of our family members here and meet a lot of each other's family and friends we have not gotten the chance to meet yet and we know we will do so at the wedding. We also look forward to sharing our different wedding customs and culture which we know are very interesting. 

7. Anything else you want to share?  I'm from Honduras and Pedro is from Dominican Republic. We both ended up in Savannah for school. Pedro is an Architect and I'm an Interior designer. We both share the same creative passions and goals. We both love Savannah and wish to stay here for a while :)

STYLED SHOOT: Greenhouse, Bamboo Farms + Botany

Here are Ivory and Beau, we love everything nature. Flowers, trees, birds and bees, we love it all! So we knew we wanted to do a botany inspired shoot. Before we even started planning we knew we wanted the amazing Izzy Hudgins to photograph it. Her photography is gorgeous, crisp, and just flat out perfect. So once we got Izzy on board, we started planning! We had always wanted to do a shoot at a greenhouse, and the Coastal Botanical Gardens in Savannah were ideal! Not only did they have a greenhouse, but they had amazing gardens, and even a bamboo farm! To tie in the botany and science theme we created a huge chalkboard ceremony backdrop, filled with math equations (which we also did on the dinner table) For the escort cards, we wanted to do a DIY project (tutorial here!) and made a pallet board display filled with plants. We already had this crazy idea for a hanging test tube chandelier for a bride's wedding, so this was the perfect opportunity to test it out! It was made by Whitney at The Grace Graffiti, who was amazing in helping us put our crazy idea to life! Colonial House of Flowers did the flowers, floral crown and the STUNNING chandelier. When we saw the chandelier, we thought there would just be a few flowers, but noooo, they completely blew us away with what they made!! I mean it was insane how amazing it was.  When looking for a model, Izzy suggested Leslie Miller of Leslie Miller Designs (who beaded the tie and necklace) and she was perfect! (Plus, Adrienna has been following her beadwork on social media for a while, so meeting her in person was awesome!) Her blue hair was fabulous, and hair and makeup by Marie Bramlett made it even more perfect. (I mean ombre blue hair?! Yes please!)

SIMPLY WED: Shannon + Steven

Are ya'll ready for not one but two of the cutest ring bearers you will ever see? But really... Shannon + Steven by far win the award for cutest ring bearers in the entire world. So excited to finally share this spring wedding from this year with you all!! Shannon + Steven were the sweetest couple and I'm really excited because when we go to Bridal Market this October we plan to meet up with them while in New York City (where the couple lives!) Izzy Hudgins captured every last detail of their wedding day, which took place at Whitefield Square and Savannah Station. Their wedding was filled with sunflowers, yellows and purples with flowers done beautifully by A to Zinnias. It was a lovely spring wedding on a lovely day in April in Savannah with some really funny surprises. The first being the dog ring bearer who was carried down the aisle by the best man and maid of honor... The second being when the groomsmen surprised everybody by dressing up in hot dog costumes... Unfortunately no pictures of that here but oh my gosh trust me it was the funniest and best moment I think I have ever seen at a wedding. Anyway, huge congratulations to the sweet couple!! We wish you all the happiest of happy marriages!!!
