THOUGHTS TUESDAY: Neon Wedding + Ash and Light

Want a bold look for your wedding? Add a pop of neon! It's such a fun way to add some color, and be a little daring! Now neon can be overwhelming so here are a few tips:

1. Limit your number of bridesmaids. If you have more then 4 or so bridesmaids, it's going to be an overwhelming amount of neon next to you, and super distracting. These gowns by Ash + Light are the perfect neon dresses, not too bright, and definitely re-wearable! We will have these gowns, plus an awesome styling session, May 3rd. Get tickets to it here!

2. Are you loving neon, but maybe not for bridesmaids? How about a pop of color in your signature drinks! You can easily do a hot pink drink with cranberry and oranges!

3. Add neon accents in your decor! You can add a pop of color in your flowers, on your cake, or even hanging from the ceiling! This way you can pick and choose what colors you have and where you have them. One of our favorite ideas are these succulents with hot pink rocks! You can have these as escort cards, or favors!

SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Fringe + mint, blush, neon...

Gosh ya'll. These last few weeks have been awesome... and awesomely busy!!!! This Saturday we wrap up our wedding season until fall with a wedding at Tybee Island Social Club!! I could not be more excited for this weekend's handmade wedding gorgeousness at a laid back restaurant near the beach... it's one of those weddings I know I'm going to be able to stand back, look around, and say... now this is my kind of wedding. Along with all the wedding planning madness and preparation for our fall weddings, I have also been working on setting a date with my fiance for our wedding next summer! Blog post coming soon on our adventures finding the perfect venue and setting a date... Now that was no easy task let me tell you what...

In the time being, here is some wedding inspiration of what I'm loving lately! Fringe, fringe, more fringe. And yes, there will be some handmade fringe garlands (handmade by moi) at this weekend's wedding! I am loving how fun and playful fringe is lately and it gets even more fun when you mix neon and gold... So I hope you will enjoy this kind of random, kind of crazy wedding inspiration on this lovely Thursday in May and I will be back with a blogging vengeance filled with fun posts!!!! Well... after this weekend that is...

SIMPLY INSPIRATION: Gray & Neon Pink

I find wedding inspiration in the most random places... and today's inspiration is from my Michael Kors purse and my Cole Haan wallet... which are gray and neon pink.
