SIMPLY WED: Emily + Matt

I am so excited to share Emily + Matt's wedding today. This was such a stunning wedding that took place at the Charles H Morris Center with some really fabulous vendors. Rach Lea captured all the details of their big day. The moody romantic fall flowers and decor were by Amy Harvey Designs. I loved how unique the palette was and the mix of fall colors with succulents, a combination that I have not seen that often. The girls were made over by Michelle Royal and looked so stunning. The ceremony itself took place out on the grassy bluff area overlooking the Savannah River with violin music played by our favorite, Chris Dooley. Their ceremony backdrop incorporated lanterns, pumpkins, gourds and mossy details and the ceremony itself took place during sunset. After the ceremony guests mingled and enjoyed the cigar bar on the outdoor patio area. The reception was catered by Berry's Catering and the delicious cake was by KM Cake Designs. Later in the night on the outdoor patio the couple had a fresh pralines action bar by Savannah Sweets and oh my smokes these were the best things you have ever had in your life. I would highly recommend this dessert station to anybody who wants to treat their guests to some delicious indulgences. Their evening ended with a sparkler exit with a luxury Timeless Motorcoach vintage car to whisk them on their happily wed way.

Huge congratulations to the happy couple + to see/read more about their wedding make sure to pick up the newest issue of Savannah Weddings Magazine where their wedding is featured!!

{STYLED SHOOT} Southern Belles

This shoot was by far the girliest shoot I have ever been apart of. And even though Southern is not at all me, it was still so much fun to style. Rach Lea contacted me about doing a very southern inspired shoot and I was all for it!! We had 3 lovely models, Alison Epps of Alison Epps Photography, local musician Sarah Tollerson and Jenn Lenn. Alison rocked a  Faith Thornburg gown with a Jaclyn Jordan headpiece. Sarah Tollerson wore bridal separates by Rebecca Schoneveld with a Faith Thornburg floral headpiece and Jenn Lenn wore a Sarah Seven gown. Thank you Sarah for being a trooper with a huge flower on your head ;) And thank you to Allison Barlow for doing makeup and making these ladies look phenomenal!!!

The shoot took place out at Woodlawn Plantation, an adorable little venue that is so perfect and gorgeous for a southern wedding. Rach Lea captured all the details from the florals by Urban Poppy to the tablescape with Dot and Army napkins and plates from Fancy PlatesRum Runners made the pretty ombre cake and the cookies are all from Byrds Cookies. The cake stand and other decor accessories all can be found for sale at Simply Southern Wedding. Anyway, we hope you enjoy this southern wedding inspiration shoot with some pretty bridal looks all available at Ivory + Beau!!!

SIMPLY PUBLISHED: {A Lowcountry Wedding} Sequins + Peonies

Eeeeek!!!!! We are up on A Lowcountry Wedding!!!! It was so much fun putting together this mini love session for Rach Lea's friend, Liz Marie of Liz Marie Blog!! Rach contacted me about making a bridal bouquet + helping style this love session for her friend and of course I squealed with excitement and said yesssssssss. It worked out perfectly because we just happened to get that silver sequin linen, which we used as a prop for a funky blanket and is now our front desk at Ivory + Beau. I was even more squealing with excitement when I went to the floral shop and saw there were peonies available and of course I had to get those. The bouquet I made for the shoot was quite possibly one of my favorites I have ever made ever. Anyway, go on over to check out the entire shoot here!!! Thank you Erin for featuring us on your blog!!
