SIMPLY WED: Emily + Matt

I am so excited to share Emily + Matt's wedding today. This was such a stunning wedding that took place at the Charles H Morris Center with some really fabulous vendors. Rach Lea captured all the details of their big day. The moody romantic fall flowers and decor were by Amy Harvey Designs. I loved how unique the palette was and the mix of fall colors with succulents, a combination that I have not seen that often. The girls were made over by Michelle Royal and looked so stunning. The ceremony itself took place out on the grassy bluff area overlooking the Savannah River with violin music played by our favorite, Chris Dooley. Their ceremony backdrop incorporated lanterns, pumpkins, gourds and mossy details and the ceremony itself took place during sunset. After the ceremony guests mingled and enjoyed the cigar bar on the outdoor patio area. The reception was catered by Berry's Catering and the delicious cake was by KM Cake Designs. Later in the night on the outdoor patio the couple had a fresh pralines action bar by Savannah Sweets and oh my smokes these were the best things you have ever had in your life. I would highly recommend this dessert station to anybody who wants to treat their guests to some delicious indulgences. Their evening ended with a sparkler exit with a luxury Timeless Motorcoach vintage car to whisk them on their happily wed way.

Huge congratulations to the happy couple + to see/read more about their wedding make sure to pick up the newest issue of Savannah Weddings Magazine where their wedding is featured!!

SIMPLY WED: Amanda + Nick

Amanda + Nick's wedding was so fun to be a part of for a few reasons. First off the couple was really sweet and their bridal party was sweet as well. Second off because they sure know how to pick some awesome vendors that we had never worked with before. Let me just start off by saying when the ladies of Enchanted Florist showed up and started unloading basically an entire garden we were just in awe of the setup of this crew. They did such an amazing job and we loved the ceremony so much, which basically had enough flowers to fill a greenhouse. Then just when you think it can't get any better than that you get to try the food from Betty Williams Catering and you just can't get enough it is just that good. So good that we still to this day talk about how amazingly delicious their food was. Especially the mac and cheese. Betty Williams Catering puts your grandma's mac and cheese to shame. And well your grandma's cooking in general to shame. Because this southern homestyle cooking is just so damn good. So so damn good. (side note: while proof reading this blog post to Adrienna she is yelling in the background, "I STILL DREAM ABOUT THE MAC AND CHEESE.") And then you're thinking there is just no way this is going to get any better but then you try the cake. And its heaven. So good. So so so good. Beth Cremer Cake Art not only makes some crazy looking cakes (hence the pizza cake for the groom) but these cakes taste even better than they look. And then you're thinking okay but really there is seriously no way this is going to get any better now that I am in awe of the beautiful flowers and the delicious food and I have a stomach ache from all the food and the scrumptious cake but then while overseeing the reception you get to listen to the super awesome music of Emerald Empire Band. And then the entire day doesn't feel like work at all. That being said, yes we did do a lot of work to make sure the event ran smoothly, and we did sweat and we did organize the details and do our job, but the perks of the job are getting fed while on the clock and getting to listen to really good music. That being said, huge congratulations to Amanda + Nick!! And thank you for choosing Ivory + Beau as your day of coordinator!! Anyway, hope you all enjoy the pictures of the wedding taken by Jayne B Photography at the Charles H Morris Center!

SIMPLY WED: Lindsey + Leigh

I'm excited to finally share Lindsey + Leigh's navy blue and pink preppy wedding from this past September!! Lindsey was referred to me by one of my other brides (her employee) actually and she was such a joy to work with! Her and Leigh are one of the very few couples who I have worked with who are Savannah locals. They are such sweethearts + it was so fun being apart of their wedding!! Hope you enjoy checking out the photos from their wedding!!
