{STYLED SHOOT} Bohemian Fondue

Sometimes you have styled shoots + you have unruly misbehaving models... this was a good example of one. Our flower girl model would not stop eating our food (meant as props).... But really. She was trying to eat an entire loaf of bread... she ate all the strawberries + she kept eating the pineapple too... Good thing she is super ridiculously adorable so it kind of made up for it. This bohemian fondue shoot was our very first shoot we did featuring our bridal gowns from our boutique + it was such a blast!!!! Teresa of Memories n More photographed our faux bride wearing a Sarah Seven and a Rebecca Schoneveld gown with accessories by Hushed CommotionSara Jane Boutique lent us the adorable dress, furry vest + headpiece. The Creative Porcupine designed the fondue menus for the shoot + they were super adorable!!! Beyond Beautiful by Heather did the hair + makeup of the model who was also her sister!!! Doesn't she look like a goddess or a fairy!?!? Adrienna + I crafted the teepee (which now sits in the corner of our shop!) This shoot was also just featured on The Lovely Find so make sure you go on over to check out the feature there!!! Thank you to all the awesome vendors who were apart of this shoot!!

SIMPLY PUBLISHED: The Lovely Find

If you didn't get to check out yesterday make sure you go on over to The Lovely Find today to see our Fondue Bohemian Bridal Inspiration shoot we did photographed by Teresa of Memories n More!!! This shoot was the first we got to do using Ivory + Beau's bridal gowns + accessories so it was super extra special to both Adrienna + I!! We picked a gorgeous lacy gown by Rebecca Schoneveld + Sarah Seven's golden sequin gown for the shoot and a few bridal accessories by Hushed Commotion. Also, it was one of the first styled shoots we did where we really decided to push ourselves out of our comfort zones + with that came the mini pineapple + artichoke + feathers bridal bouquet!!! Amanda of The Creative Porcupine made all the printables for the shoot and they turned out awesome!! We are super excited that we are working with her again on a collaboration this weekend with Mackensey Alexander for Ruffled Blog! Heather of Beyond Beautiful did the hair + makeup for our faux bride who was actually her sister!! I love how angelic she looked, it is always fabulous working with Heather because she does such an amazing job!!! Anyway, hope you enjoy + go on over to see the rest of the feature here + thank you Amy for featuring us on your site!!!

DESIGNER REVEAL #3: Sarah Seven

Today we share our first bridal gown designer + we think ya'll are going to love this one!!!!! When we first started talking about opening a boutique, the first designer I KNEW we had to have was Sarah Seven. Everything she makes is perfectly feminine with a hint of vintage flair. Her signature draping and soft fabrics are perfect for a Southern bride. Her gowns flow, and have a special lightness and effortlessness about them. It was SO hard to pick the first set of her gowns we would carry, but after narrowing it down at market we were able to pick our top favorites that we know you will fall in love with too! [Image of the bride below with the bouquet in her face is from a styled shoot we did with Sarah Seven's "Golden Lights" gown with Memories n More! Follow us on Facebook to see when we share the rest of the shoot!]

Lindsey was referred to me by one of my other brides (her employee) actually and she was such a joy to work with! Her and Leigh are one of the very few couples who I have worked with who are Savannah locals. They are such sweethearts + it was so fun being apart of their wedding!! {Real Wedding} Devon & Rob

Devon and Rob's wedding was such an elegant affair to remember!! Devon contacted me back in January with just about 3 months to plan her intimate destination wedding in Savannah, and we were able to get it done thru many phone calls and emails. Many of her personal details were purchased from small bushiness and thru Etsy.com. Her color scheme was chocolate, champagne and magnolias - didn't everything came together well? Her event was very family focused with a strong importance of including the children who attended. All the kids who came received a FUN bag of toys, coloring books, stickers, glow sticks, and more!! Many wonderful vendors helped make this event gorgeous and here are those who contributed:

Ceremony/Reception Location: Elizabeth on 37th Street
Wedding Planner: Simply Savannah Events
Photographer: Memories N More
Cake:
 Two Cakes
Hair & Makeup:
 Joli A Brides
Ceremony Music:
 Chris Dooley Violist & Pianist
Rentals:
 In Any Event
Florist: Etsy vendor fabric flowers
Centerpieces

Eco-friendly details: supporting etsy and small business owners, ceremony & reception in the same location, organic food menu, no flowers used, and family carpooled to Savannah.
