SIMPLY BRIDESMAIDS: Friday Fancies Emerald Pantone Color of the Year

I looooooove emerald. It is such an elegant color. However, I haven't always loved it. If you had asked me while growing up if I liked emerald I would have shook my head full of bright red hair and said nuhhhhhhh uhhhhh nooooo wayyyyy not meeeee. Why? Because I hated being a ginger. I mean seriously hated it. I wanted so badly to have blonde hair. But noooo. I was a ginger kid... and even worse, I had freckles. Blechhhh. And ya know what everyone always said looked "soooooooo pretty" on me because it looked so nice with my hair? The color emerald. So I hated it. Well, I have grown out of that phase & now I absolutely am loving emerald. & hey, it really does look pretty great with my red hair, which really isn't even that red anyway. Emerald is all over the fashion world right now and I'm guessing it has a lot to do with the fact it is the 2013 Pantone Color of the Year. So for today's Friday Fancies link-up with AV at Long Distance Loving I put together a bridesmaids or even a wedding guest look in emerald. Hope you enjoy!
