REAL BRIDE: Courtney + John

We think your wedding dress should not just be gorgeous, but comfortable. That is why we love gowns by Lena Medoyeff! All of her gowns are handmade in Portland, Oregon, and are make of 100% silk and fair trade lace. Courtney came in wanting a soft and comfortable gown, and we knew her and Lena would be a perfect match. She chose one with a v neck front, low v back, and flutter sleeves. It fit her perfectly, we it is so lightweight! And normally we talk just about the wedding dress.... but this time the grooms attire was top notch! We are IN LOVE with his burgundy suit, and honestly, I want my boyfriend Woody to get one!! Courtney + John's wedding was small and intimate, and the reception was held in the wine cellar at The Mansion on Forsyth. Thank you Kati Rosado for these gorgeous pictures!

REAL BRIDE: Kelly + Burke

Kelly was one of our sweetest brides, who was always a joy to work with! She wanted a light weight lace gown for her wedding at their home on Wilmington Island, and knew she wanted sleeves. After trying on a few Lena Medoyeff gowns, we were able to find the perfect combination of v neck front and back with long sheer sleeves. She also wanted a magnolia hair piece, so our local designer Adele Amelia made her a custom piece for her perfect day. We are so glad we got to be apart of her wedding in so many ways! It's not a surprise we love Lynn at Lena Medoyeff. She is kind, so supportive, and her gowns are stunning. When we had a trunk show with her last year, they were a huge hit, and we knew we had to add her! We added the Christine + Kristin gown, and we they have been so popular! One of the best parts of Lynn's gowns are how customizable they are. Want long sleeves? Can do! Want a high neckline? Yep! Keyhole back? Of course! She is able to make the dress of your dreams with her signature lace (Make sure to watch the video for her story! She is an amazing woman!) Below are all the ways the Kristin gown has been styled! She is one of our most popular gowns to be borrowed for styled shoot, and we LOVE seeing her in pictures! That lace is beyond amazing!

We are really excited to bring Lynn back to Savannah for her trunk show January 10th - 17th! SIMPLY PUBLISHED: {Paprika Southern} A Quote, Kate Pankoke + Vineyard Romance

So beyond thrilled that one of our Lena Medoyeff gowns made the cover of online magazine, Paprika Southern, a magazine focused on art and style with a Southern twist. Also excited that my quote about the groomsmen in hot dogs from Shannon + Steven's wedding got into the magazine!!! In the magazine is also a Q&A with the bridal designer with one of our bridal designers, Kate Pankoke. Bevin, one of the editors who recently got married this fall, bought her Elaya Vaughn dress at our shop during our Trunk Show with Kate Pankoke. Anyway, we were the day of coordinators for Kate's wedding almost a year ago, photographed by Shannon Christopher at Brockington Hall so we loved getting to see the picture of Kate in the magazine wearing her gorgeous custom dress made entirely by herself that was finished a few days before the wedding. 

The editorial featuring our gown was taken at September Oaks Vineyards photographed by Lisa Marie Oquinn of Sweet Tea Photography. YOJ Events styled the entire shoot with rentals from Event Haus, Snyder Rentals and Polished; flowers from Colonial House of Flowers; our dress of course and a stylish tux from Charleston Tuxedo. Megan Mateo did hair and makeup for the lovely bride. Anyway, the team of vendors did an awesome job with everything and we loved getting to see our dress featured!!
