I have finally started sharing my NEW business cards at events around town, to local vendors, client's family and friends, putting them at local shops, etc and I'm loving the response to them! So today my "Organic Wednesday" post is about the company I bought them from since they have GREEN practices.
Who is MOO??
Moo is a small company and has offices in London, UK and Rhode Island, USA. You can have Business Cards, Postcards and MiniCards made by them. They have green paper that is 100% recycled and recyclable, manufactured using wind power and free from harmful chemicals. My new cards are their Luxe Business Cards "they are 600gsm, Mohawk Superfine paper which uses the unique Quadplex technology. Quadplex compresses four layers of Mohawk Superfine paper together, including your choice of
colours in the center which runs through the middle of the paper stock. Luxe Business Cards are available with four fill colours: Red, Blue, Black and White. They are twice as thick as MOO's Classic stock, and over 3x thicker than regular business cards". The cards are also double sided with colour on both sides. Do they use soy based inks? "Sadly not. Right now, there are no soy based options for digital printing. We're pleased to say that digital print does however, produce less waste and use less water than traditional litho printing". The Luxe cards measure: 84mm x 55mm OR 3.3inches x 2.17inches
