THOUGHTS THURSDAY: How To Accessorize Your Dress

Today we are talking about one of the most important parts of your wedding: your accessories! Your wedding is not just about your dress, but how you accessorize it. Are you still looking for your jewelry, and unsure how to style it? You are in luck! We have a Chloe + Isabel trunk show March 28th, where we will have a stylist helping you and your girls find the perfect accent piece! This is a one day only pop up shop, with appointments required, so make sure to set yours up! Here are some tips on how to choose your jewelry!

1. Choose the dress first: Sometimes you find an amazing pair of shoes, and think, these are my shoes, now I need to find a dress to match them! Wrong! Once you find your dress you can set everything around that. You will wear this dress once. Those shoes? Anytime you want!

2. Focus on the shape and color of the dress: If you have a ton of bling on your gown, or a sparkly sash, you don't need to add too much. A nice stud or bracelet can really play off the sparkle in your gown. If your gown is blush, it's great to play off the pink and go with gold and rose gold accents. If your dress is white, stick with silver so it doesn't clash. Ivory is versatile, and can go with every metallic!

3. Go off the neckline: Your neckline determines so much of what jewelry you wear! See our guide below for what Chloe + Isabel pieces will work best with your dress!

V-Neck's work best with a drop earring, or a bold bracelet. This way the focus can be on your dress detail, but still allows you to have fun with your accessories! (You know what else is great? The dress pictured is 50% off during our sample sale through the end of March!)

High necklines are the perfect way to wear a bold necklace. Since you are covering so much skin, you can really add some fun with an eye catching piece!

Sweetheart dresses go best with earrings, so your focus is on your beautiful décolletage and skin. Add a punch of color with a bold modern earring!
