SIMPLY WED: Kathleen + Brendan

We are so lucky that we get the coolest brides! Kathleen and Brendan wanted a wedding that was as relaxed as the were, and wanted a fun and casual reception. They are both graduate students at University of Tennessee studying geology, and wanted a southern wedding, complete with vintage rentals and jazz band. And just wait until you see Kathleen's ring, it's stunning! We loved brainstorming with them to come up with decor ideas, and how to create the best space in The Brice. We decided on limited tables, with mostly high boys, and a separate room for dancing. This way guests could mingle and interact, and have a good time!

Not only did we get to be their day of coordinators, but we also got to do their flowers! Kathleen dreamed of a forest inside The Brice hotel, and that's exactly what we did. We used their various wooden pieces, with touches of ivory and purple flowers. Her bouquet was a a mix of roses, eucalyptus, baby's breath, ferns and dried lavender (a dream combo!) Not only were their bouquet's beautiful, they smelled amazing. We love when a bride lets us come up with ideas, and trust what we will do is beautiful. We are so excited that we got to work with Jeff and Mollie, and are in love with all of the pictures of this perfect day! Click on the feature for more pictures!
