A few weeks ago I got a call from Plantation Landing... after quickly Facebooking it to see what it was all about I knew I had to go check this place out in person. The pictures do not do it justice. It is such a gorgeous Southern estate tucked back in a marsh on Wilmington Island. The house has a very antebellum feel to it and would be the perfect backdrop for a Southern wedding. The surrounding trees, marsh, and landscape is very picturesque and there are so many different places you could hold your ceremony. Some other things the house provides:
- Sleeps 14-18 guests (6 bed + 7.5 bath and a 3 bed + 2 bath guest house)
- 300 ft. of floating dock space for fishing, crabbing & shrimping
- 5 acre pond
- 50 ft. heated swimming pool access
- Billard room
- Theater room with 12 foot dropdown screen
- 48 ft. Bristol Ketch sailboat available for private charter
- Playground outside for the little ones
Seriously it is a gem! I am so excited they opened up the estate to host weddings there!
